Chatbot SDK IntegrationInstallation methods
JavaScript / TypeScript
Install the Chatbot in any framework with createTapKit
Use createTapKit in bundler-based projects that do not use React. The same approach works with Vue, Svelte, and Vanilla JavaScript.
1. Install the package
npm install @coxwave/tap-kit2. Prepare a container
<div id="chatbot" style="height: 600px"></div>In inline mode, the parent element needs an explicit height.
3. Create the Chatbot
import { createTapKit } from '@coxwave/tap-kit';
const container = document.querySelector<HTMLElement>('#chatbot');
if (!container) {
throw new Error('Chatbot container not found');
}
const tapkit = createTapKit({
apiKey: 'your-api-key',
userId: 'user-123',
courseId: 'course-456',
clipId: 'clip-789',
mode: 'inline',
});
tapkit.mount(container);
await tapkit.ready;4. Clean up
Destroy the instance when the page or component is removed.
tapkit.destroy();apiUrl, tapUrl, and environment are internal testing options. Keep the defaults for production integrations.
